BMW has reported its sales for the second quarter and first half of 2025.
The automaker was up 1.6 percent for the first half, moving 178,499 units. This despite a second quarter that saw a small 0.4 percent decline from 2024 with 90,884 vehicles sold. The company moved 91,237 units in Q2 last year.
“Our sales performance over the first half of the year is a clear indication that we have the right strategy, products, and dealer network to succeed,” said Sebastian Mackensen, President and CEO, BMW of North America. “We’re confident in our business and look forward to building on this progress in the second half of the year, despite some challenges in the marketplace.”
Electric vehicles took a hit for BMW, dropping 21.2 percent in the second quarter from 14,081 vehicles to 11,094.
Mini, meanwhile, saw a gain of 29.1 percent in the second quarter from 5,898 to 7,616. The small-car purveyor is up 19 percent year-over-year.
