This week on the TTAC podcast, the talk is all about modifying your own car.
Big deal, you say. I modify my own cars all the time!
Sure, maybe you do, perhaps with help from our product reviews and Stuff We Use feature, but is your car brand new? Do the mods you’re working on involve not a cold-air intake but interior controls?
Well, either way, we speak with Jan Kalis and Wes Garrison from our VWIDTalk forum about what it’s like to work on their own vehicles, Volkswagens in general, and how you can get started no matter make of vehicle you own.
Matthew Guy is back from vacation, so we’re able to chat NASCAR together again — I watched the race while on vacation myself, and we go over Bubba Wallace’s big win and try to figure out why the Brickyard 400 only gets about 70,000 fans in a venue that can hold 300K without batting an eye.
We also talk about locking pliers for our Stuff We Use segment — a handy tool for shade-tree mechanics and homeowners alike.
You can find us wherever you get your podcasts or by clicking here. If you like what you hear, please leave a review!
We thank Matthew Guy, Jan Kelis, and Wes Garrison for their time and Matt Posky for editing. Most of all, we thank you for listening!
We’ll see you next time!
